Located right off the main entrance road, next to the campus police building and parking lot B. This sensory labyrinth is part of a cognitive garden which looks out at the water and resides within a large stone wall. The labyrinth is shaped like a crab crawling up hill. The walking pathway is comprised of original mosaic art created by art students from Waterford High School. All of the plants between the pathways are herbs including: lemon balm, chocolate mint, and chives. Lavender and creeping thyme form the outside edges of the walkway. Visitors are encouraged to look at the art as well as to touch the mosaics and plants. The rest of the garden, which includes a pollinator garden and meadow, boulders, sandpit, row boat, shade and fairy garden, and amphitheatre, are also designed to stimulate the senses, active exploration, engagement, and thought.
