On the outskirts of New Plymouth, enter Tūpare gardens and follow the road down through the gardens to the River Flat. Halfway down the hill behind the house is a good view of the labyrinth mown into the meadow grass next to the Whaiwhakaiho River. Entry to the labyrinth is marked by a wooden post.
