The Churchyard includes a Labyrinth, a site for prayer and meditation, that commemorates victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001. Two people with family ties to Trinity died when the World Trade Center towers collapsed. Part of a steel beam from the Trade Center is in the middle of the Labyrinth, which was installed in 2003 and dedicated on June 19, 2004.
