Heart of Chartres out door labyrinth at the rear of the Cathedral. The labyrinth is located over the original 6th century foundation of Cork City and is also the site of an 11th century round tower (now destroyed). The Labyrinth is held beautifully by the trees and is focused on the golden angel which sits over the communion table. The Labyrinth is measured in cubits, the same unit of human measure used in the Cathedral.
