Newly built in February 2025 in 15 days by owners, Dean and Lisa Kindle using rocks from the property. All rocks came from the ground under the labyrinth, unearthed by using pickaxes, shovels, rakes and hands. This classical labyrinth is 40 feet in diameter with 7 circuits. Just on the outer edge of the labyrinth is an old Mesquite tree that will be a spot for reflection with a couple benches. We will also be opening that area to be a place of remembrance, where people can leave something in memory of someone or tie a prayer onto a branch with a piece of fabric, or even bring a little sun catcher or item to add to the tree to make it a “fairy tree” of wishes. Our goal is to create a place of peace for anyone who visits.

From Tucson, take Hwy 10 South to AZ-90 E (Benson exit 302). Take AZ-90 for 27 miles to Sierra Vista. AZ-90 turns to the left, keep going straight on Buffalo Soldier Trail. Stay on Buffalo Soldier trail for 6 miles to AZ-92 E, turn right. Take AZ-92 for 3 miles to Ramsey Road, turn left. Take Ramsey Road for 1.2 miles to Mesquite Tree Lane, turn left.

    Our wish is that the community feels welcome to come walk our labyrinth at any time. For visitors further away, it is nice that they call or email ahead so that we can greet them and give them a little introduction and guidance to the walk. We also offer accommodations for those visitors coming from further away so that they might consider staying and experiencing the labyrinth at night! We also offer a campfire upon request and other experiences. It will be a truly memorable experience at the Solquest Retreat Labyrinth!
