This is a walkable representation of Comenius labyrinth (the first as far as I know), based on the illustration, description and considerations found in his 17th century spirituality book ‘The labyrinth of the world and the paradise of the heart.’ It is a two-arm, three circuit concentric labyrinth, with a spiral in the center ending in a cross inside a heart. A distinguishing feature of the design is the space that precedes the entrance to the labyrinth, called the ‘gate of life.’

The labyrinth is in Carlos and Lili’s house, and is especially aimed at those interested in Christian prayer and meditation. A library for that purpose is also available on site.
