Park Island is central to the Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve near Muizenberg in Cape Town. The Park Island labyrinth was created in a naturally sloping amphitheatre offering visitors tranquillity with views of the Zandvlei estuary and the Muizenberg and Steenberg Peaks in the Table Mountain Reserve. The path is defined by a one-metre border of rehabilitated, endangered Cape Dune Strandveld vegetation which is endemic to the area.
