The Rose Garden Labyrinth is located in the heart of Menucha's 101 acres in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Take I-84 East from the Portland Metro area to exit 22 (18 in winter) or follow the Historic Columbia River Highway. Menucha is located in Corbett, on the north side of the highway, 1.4 miles or so east of Corbett Market. The labyrinth is located down a grassy slope behind our main lodge, Wright Hall, which is an old historic country estate.

  • Type:

    Medieval
Combining Lisa Moriarty’s Circle of Peace, and the Chartres six petal center designs, this model combines 7 circuits from the Classical and sets them in a more Medieval framework of a circle quartered by a cross. The six petaled rose in the center further connects with the metaphors traditionally held by interpretation of the Chartres center piece. With this design, there are 14 turns, making it also very versatile for a metaphorical walk along Stations of the Cross. Breathtaking!
