In Kurukshetra (scene of the battle field described in the Hindu epic Mahabharata) there is a famous temple dedicated to the goddess Durga. In the compound there is a small chapel with a labyrinth, which is visited by pregnant women to ensure health and wealth for their unborn child. Around the town of Kurukshetra, there should be more similar chapels. They are a place of worship for pregnant women
