A female elder of the Wurundjeri peoples visited the garden and wrote – This place – Araluen – has been held in safekeeping by the Spirit Keepers of the Wurundjeri nations. It holds secret knowledge and the sacred energy of our people and their healers. It is a place of great significance to Indigenous culture and should be honoured by all those who enter the space.
