The memorial is dedicated to the lives lost at Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016 and is meant as a place to reflect and engage in walking meditation. It consists of an outside circle of pavers that are engraved with the names of the 49 individuals lost during the shooting, with a rainbow prismatic Orlando United heart.
