Originally opened September 16, 2001 as part of the healing garden at Whitman Walker Clinic in Arlington. Placed in storage in 2009 after the clinic closed. Opened at new location November 1, 2013, in Barton Park, at the corner of 10th and Barton Streets, just north of the community gardens.
