View Map View Map

The labyrinth is located in the botanical park of the the Artikum Science Centre and Museum. The labyrinth is available only during the spring and summer when there is no snow. Once the snow arrives in October the labyrinth will be buried until the snow melt away, generally by May. The labyrinth is made of stone and is located near the Artikum Aboretum Botanical Park (Artikum kasvitieteellinen puisto) and is accessible to the public outside of museum operating hours. In the summer, there is 24hrs of daylight so the labyrinth can be walked at all hours of the night in bright sunshine (bring sunscreen and long sleeves and trousers because of the mosquitos). This is truly a special and magical place.
